Roan van de Moosdijk becomes champion with the victory in Holzgerlingen ahead of Max Nagl. Jordi Tixier finishes the season in second place in Holzgerlingen. Maximilian Spies finishes third in the championship with third place at the season finale.

After overnight rainfall, the riders of the ADAC MX Masters season finale in Holzgerlingen were treated to challenging conditions at the Schützenbühlring. Roan van de Moosdijk (NL/Kosak Racing Team) was crowned the new ADAC MX Masters champion with two race wins on Sunday. Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG) once again made it onto the event podium with second place. Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) finished the season strongly in third place. Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek) finished runner-up after fourth place in Holzgerlingen.

With second place behind Tixier in Saturday's race, van de Moosdijk took over the championship lead from Nagl, who finished fourth behind Marcel Stauffer (A/Osicka MX Team), with a one-point lead before the decisive two races. In the second race, van de Moosdijk laid the foundation for winning the title with a commanding lights-to-flag victory ahead of Spies and Tixier. Nagl only crossed the finish line in sixth place and was classified eighth after the race due to disregard of a yellow flag. In the third race, Tixier won the Red Bull Holeshot, but van de Moosdijk took the lead on the opening lap ahead of Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) and Nagl. Shortly before the middle of the race, Nagl took over second place from Ludwig, but was unable to reduce the gap to van de Moosdijk. With the success in Holzgerlingen, Van de Moosdijk is the only rider to have won two events this season. With the event victory, he not only won his first ADAC MX Masters title, but also the first championship in this class for the Kosak Racing Team.

"I can't really believe it yet, but today everything just fell into place. I felt good, had good starts. I had some bad luck this year, like the start crash in Bielstein and the problem with the broken chain, but the team and I never gave up and always believed in the title. Many thanks to the entire Kosak Racing Team for their trust in me. I'm very happy," said a delighted van de Moosdijk.

With the Red Bull Holeshot, Tixier started his race weekend successfully in the first race and achieved his first race win of the season. In the second race, he moved up from eighth place after the start of the race to third place. In the third race, the Red Bull Holeshot went to the Frenchman again, but then he fell back to tenth place in the early stages. From there, he worked his way up to sixth place to the finish, which was enough for him to take second place in Holzgerlingen.

"I'm a bit disappointed to have missed out on a possible event win, but overall I'm happy with the races since my injury comeback in Bielstein. I didn't expect to finish on the podium so often. That wouldn't have been possible without the support of my team and family," said Tixier.

After a collision in the leading duel in the first race, Spies slipped back to fifth place. On Sunday, he moved up from sixth place after the start to second place within a few laps in the second race. In the third race, a crash in the early stages threw him back to 13th place. But after seven laps he was back in fourth place, where he also crossed the finish line. With third place in the event, he also secured third place in the championship.

"I'm happy with my season, for the first time I was able to finish in the top three of the championship. I was able to achieve race and event victories and have developed well," said Spies.
