Roan van de Moosdijk (NL/Kosak Racing Team), who had already been crowned champion, dominated the ADAC MX Masters season finale in Fürstlich Drehna with three race wins in front of over ten thousand fans at the weekend and in excellent racing conditions. Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing) and Tom Koch (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) finished the weekend and the season on the podium.

It was a perfect weekend for Roan van de Moosdijk: on Saturday he scored his first Red Bull holeshot of the year from pole position, which was followed by a commanding lights-to-flag victory ahead of Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (EST/SHR Motorsports by Hartje) and Kevin Brumann (CH/MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing). In the second race, the Red Bull holeshot went to Talviku, but he crashed in a row.

In the first full lap of the race, van de Moosdijk took the lead from Koch and once again clinched an unchallenged victory. In the third race, Emil Weckman (FIN) was the first to turn around the starting corner, but once again van de Moosdijk took the lead on the first lap and controlled the race confidently.

"I felt very comfortable all weekend and yesterday I was happy about my first holeshot and lights-to-flag victory of the year. Today I always came out of the gate well, was able to take an early lead and control the runs. Many thanks to my team and all the fans here at the track," van de Moosdijk was satisfied.

Jere Haavisto and Jörgen-Matthias Talviku were separated by only one point in the fight for third place in the championship before the weekend. With fifth place in Saturday's race, Haavisto initially fell behind, but with two second places in the two races on Sunday, he finished the weekend in second place and pushed Talviku, who retired in the third race, behind him in the standings again.

"I'm really satisfied. It was a tough weekend, but I did my best and received a small gift from Talviku in the third race, which secured me third place in the championship," Haavisto said happily.

Tom Koch started the first run strongly on Saturday, but fell back to sixth place after a fall. In the two Sunday races, he finished third in each race, which also gave him third place in the event standings ahead of Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) and Brumann. Behind van de Moosdijk, Koch and Haavisto, Talviku and Ludwig rounded off the top five of the championship.

"My weekend started difficult with the crash on Saturday and I still felt the injuries from it today. I tried to make the best of the situation and do solid runs. I managed to do that and I'm happy with my place on the podium under the circumstances. The atmosphere with the many enthusiastic fans here was great and it was a lot of fun to ride in front of such a backdrop," said Koch.
