At the end of a fantastic season decided in the last round held in Australia, the Vertex GP Racers Choice pistons won the MXGP world title alongside the factory Kawasaki KRT rider Romain Febvre. A success that came ten years after the one achieved by the French in 2015, when he became world champion riding the 450 Yamaha also equipped with Vertex Pistons.

Significant results deriving also from the close collaboration that for several years has linked Vertex to the most prestigious factory teams of the Motocross World Championship, including, in addition to KRT, also Honda HRC, Yamaha Monster, Fantic Motor, TM and Beta, and which confirm the absolute level of performance and reliability of the pistons produced by the Italian-American company.

To complete the Vertex Pistons success, the GP Racers Choice also secured the first three places in the WMX world championship, with the Dutch Lotte Van Drunen defeating the competition on the Yamaha De Baets team, ahead of the Italian Kiara Fontanesi and the Spanish Daniela Guillen, while the Race Evolution version dedicated to 2-strokes pistons dominated the EMX125 with Nicolò Alvisi new champion with the KTM of the Racestore team.
