On the top of the Vertex Pistons productions there’s the GP-Racer's Choice piston, for 4-stroke motocross and enduro use is undoubtedly the most appreciated by manufacturers, factory teams and riders, thanks to the high performance and reliability qualities.

This is underlined by the numbers of world titles that the GP-Racer's Choice have won over the years alongside by the most famous riders of all specialties. Also on this 2022 season other great victories have come, starting with the Motocross World Championship by Tim Gajser in MXGP class riding the Honda HRC, Maxime Renaux in the MXGP of the Motocross of Nations with the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing, Nancy Van de Ven in the WMX riding the Yamaha YZ250F of the Ceres 71 team, Jeremy Seewer and Jago Geerts respectively vice champion MXGP and MX2 with the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing and with Ivano Van Erp Junior 125 cc champion with the Yamaha of the Mjc team. The GP-Racer’s Choice pistons also won 1st and 2nd place in the constructor’s category of the MXGP cross world championship, respectively with Yamaha Racing and Honda HRC.

The same pistons also dominated in Supermoto with Marc Schmidt who became S1GP world champion with the L30 TM Factory and the Enduro World Championship with the World title in the E2 classes with Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano Racing) and E3 with Brad Freeman (Betamotor Factory Team). Regarding the enduro world championship, it is necessary to list, despite being 2 strokes, the overall victories in EJ and EJ1 by Zachary Pichon (Sherco CH Racing) and Hard Enduro Junior with Matthew Green (Rigo Racing) with KTM 300.

The success of the GP-Racer's Choice, available for all the most popular motocross and enduro bikes also in the 2023 version, is due to its advanced technical features: hot forged with high resistance VP-310 alloy, equipped with the T-Bridge exclusive machined inspired by F1, DLC coated pin, rings in chromed or nitrated steel depending on the application and it stands out for the exclusive shape of the head that allows guarantee excellent performance without any loss of reliability.

In addition to the GP-Racer's Choice model, the range of 4-stroke off-road pistons is completed by the hi-tech Replica, High Compression and Big Bore models, all characterized by a molybdenum disulfide coating to enhance smoothness and wear resistance, each equipped with own and specific features that respectively guarantee a perfect replacement of standard pistons with an excellent quality/price ratio, an increase in the compression ratio which improves power and torque and an increase in displacement which greatly improve performances. 

REPLICA AND RACE EVOLUTION 2 STROKE OFFROAD PISTONS

Vertex Pistons offers on the off-road market a range of high-performance pistons for 2-stroke motorcycles, the Race Evolution pistons.

These pistons, developed in the championships, starting from the world one, thanks to the collaboration with numerous and winning motocross and enduro teams, stand out from the other product lines by reduced top land, 0.8 mm special ring, special MoS2 coating featured by specific pockets to facilitate cylinder/piston smoothness and a dedicated racing profile. Features that make these Vertex pistons particularly performing and at the same time very reliable in every race circuit.

Near the Race Evolution range there’s the Replica line which is an excellent alternative to the respective standard pistons being an excellent compromise between performance and durability. Extended to the best-selling 2023 motorcycle models and now also for the Sherco SE 250R '17> '23 and SE 300R '16> 23 ', its main properties are the realization by gravity casting from aluminum alloy with high silicon content, the heat treatment with the T5 or T6 reclamation cycle, and the segments made in Japan according to the highest industry standards, also interchangeable with the original products. 

FRONT AND REAR SPROCKETS BY VERTEX PISTONS

Vertex Pistons is not just racing pistons, but also front and rear sprockets. The well-known Italian brand, world leader in the piston sector, offers the market a range of front and rear sprockets dedicated to off-road motorcycles that was made in Europe and fine-tuned with the collaboration of the factory motocross and enduro teams.

All the rear sprockets are customized with the exclusive Vertex design, manufactured with high quality materials, are completely anodized to increase wear resistance and improve durability and have quality certification thanks to processing on CNC machines.

Three models available: the Steel-Sprockets, made in special stainless steel C45 and black anodized, the Alu-Sprockets, made in Alloy 7075 with T6 heat treatment and with mud grooves on one side, and the Duo-Sprockets, made by an external part in 16CrNi4 steel with long lasting induction teeth and a core in Alloy 7075 with T6 heat treatment. The Alu and Duo sprockets are available in several different colors.

Instead, there are two front sprockets: the basic model K and the KC version equipped with lightening holes designed not to compromise reliability. Both are produced in special 16CrNi4 steel, fully CNC machined and have quality certifications. 

ATV AND UTV ALLBALLS AIR FILTERS

Waiting for the ranges for street and off-road motorcycles, VP Italy presents the new line of All Balls filters dedicated to ATV and UTV. This range of products is made by sponge and cellulose, these filters are an excellent and advantageous alternative to original products, thanks to an excellent quality and a significantly lower cost, up to 25%, compared to the relative’s standard models. There are currently on the list all the filters for the most popular models on the market, also in the 2023 version.
