This weekends brings us the Washougal round of the AMA Nationals and for me, this is one of my favourites. It is one of the circuits I have never visited and without doubt, on my bucket list. The Washougal facility is a good one for a number of the current riders in the 450 class. Chase Sexton has won there three times, Eli Tomac four times, and Jett Lawrence twice.

The big winner at Washougal is Ryan Dungey with seven wins, Ricky Carmichael has won there on six occasions, James Stewart has five wins, as does Jeff Ward, Tomac four, while Ricky Johnson has three, as does Sexton, Jeff Emig, Broc Glover, Mark Barnett and Mike Larocco.

It is a legendary circuit, like many on the AMA calendar and while going to the same tracks every year, year after year would drive me crazy, it does give a solid look to the schedule and Washougal is part of that schedule.
