Webb Out of Nationals
Cooper Webb of the Star Racing Yamaha team is out of the remaining rounds of the AMA Nationals and will not return until the SMX rounds. The three time AMA Supercross champion and former 250 motocross champion will try and recover and be ready for the Supermotocross championship.
Cooper Webb: Bummed to share that I’ll be missing the upcoming rounds of Pro Motocross. As you can see in the second photo, I caught my foot in a rut and pulled out of the second qualifier early at RedBud. I was in pain with my knee, but hopeful it was just a stinger and finished the day. The good news is the damage isn’t too bad. I’ll go in for a quick procedure Monday and should be back on the bike in around a month. It was a personal goal to make all 31 rounds this year, but shit happens. Appreciate everyone in my corner. I’ll see you guys in Charlotte.
