Wilson Todd to MX2 in Europe

Posted on August 21, 2019

Australian MX2 champion Wilson Todd has signed a deal to race the 2020 World MX2 championship, he mentioned on leading Australian website motoonline.co.au. Todd who tried out for a ride on the Red Bull KTM Factory team at the start of 2019 was not selected as they went with Tom Vialle, but now the Aussie has found himself a ride.

Todd did some selected races in America this year for the Red Bull Troy Lee KTM team, and even had the chance to race for them in 2020, but elected to race the World Motocross Championships instead.

“I don’t how much I can say, but I’ve got a deal in Europe next year, and that’s about it,” Todd revealed to MotoOnline.com.au. “I’m pretty happy – the team approached me, and it’s a top team, so it’s pretty cool. At the time I had the possibility of going to America with Troy Lee, but I got back to the guys [in Europe] and said I’ll do it.

We spoke to Steve Dixon a month or so ago and he mentioned a deal with Wilson was possible. We tried contacting Steve Dixon this morning, and once we do we find out if it is the Dixon line up or not.
