Wilson Wins in Belfast
While it was Scotsman Dean Wilson who won the opening night in Belfast, local heroes really left it all out on the track with Martin Barr getting on the podium in the Main Event. They were joined by a host of local talent in our youth classes, we were truly spoiled by Northern Irish talent tonight.
Dean Wilson gave us a masterclass, lapping near on the entire field by the final lap - an incredible night and we get to do it all again tonight!
Wilson topped qualifying in the pro class with a lap time of 22.941.
Crendon Tru 7 Honda Racing's Conrad Mewse came in second with a time of 23.779, just ahead of Tommy Searle on his Dirt Store Triumph racing 250.
In the youth classes it was Harry Lee who drew first blood in the 'Futures' class in the first of two main events that count towards the overall win. Isaac Ash will be looking to bounce back for tonight race after finishing ahead of local up-coming star Lewis Spratt, who would love to get on the box in front of a packed-out crowd.
John Slade was again awesome to watch as he swept to victory in the Super Mini's ahead of Oliver Williams and Louie McGee. While in the 'Mini' class Cameron Berry claimed the win ahead of series leader Mason Straddon. Young local hot shot Bradley Thompson from Antrim brought it home in third.
We go again tonight for round 4, but your round 3 results: Arenacross world tour
