From the electrifying season-opener in Buenos Aires to the championship-deciding finale in Cape Town elite teams and riders will once again chase the ultimate prize for World Championship glory.

Jason Anderson

Jason has been a Pro supercrosser since 2011 he won the 250SX title in 2014 and then scooped the coveted 450SX crown in the United States in 2018, joining an exclusive list. JA21 has ridden factory Husqvarna and Kawasaki machinery in his long career so far and has won with three different bikes. Anderson is fast-as-hell but is also well known for his aggressive and uncompromising approach: if there is a hard and gripping battle on track then Jason is sure to be playing his part.

Gregory Aranda

Greg is a name familiar to many supercross fans and especially those in his country. Outside of the USA, France is perhaps the next spiritual home of supercross. The French have a strong national series and one of the biggest annual supercross fixtures, hosted in the capital city of Paris. Aranda has been setting fast laps and fighting for trophies nationally and internationally (he was an FIM MXGP World Championship racer and has one MX2 podium finish on his CV) for fifteen years. Experience and a supercross specialist: watch out for his racecraft.

Ryan Breece

Fast and gnarly stadium dirtbike action? Ryan will be there! This experienced American has ripped dirt in both the United States and in Arenacross competition (‘AX’is a smaller, more compact and frenetic version of supercross) and has taken his speed across the globe. From his home country to the UK to Brazil and now World Supercross: Breece is a name that hardcore followers of the sport will easily recognise and might be a fresh favourite for the new supercross fans.

Justin Cooper

When the gate drops and the rush for the holeshot fires-up then watch out for Justin, who makes his debut in the championship this year. The American has carved a career for steady excellence and consistency. He racked-up victories and a series of top five results to own a 250SX title in the United States in 2021 and then jumped into the 450 division (SX1) where he has been a regular contender for podium trophies. An accomplished motocrosser, his Motocross of Nations representation for Team USA in 2022 is also a career-highlight. His high standards and strict demands of his form and fitness are bound to impact the leading positions of World Supercross.

Christian Craig

Watch Christian for a lesson on technique and supercross supremacy. There is unlikely to be many faster and more comfortable riders through the dreaded ‘whoops’ sections of tracks; the area that often makes such a difference for lap-times and passing opportunities. Christian has won a 250cc (SX2) title for Yamaha in the USA and has a lengthy and distinguished career in the sport. Injuries have dented his pursuit for even more trophies … but ‘CC’ is still a reference for many, whether he’s caressing the full power of a 450cc bike or manhandling the agility of a 250.

Vince Friese

There is unlikely to be a quiet race if Vince is rolling into the gate. On-track clashes and intense scrapping for positions have defined the ‘Friese Experience’. Sometimes the ‘noise’ has obscured the fact that Vince is a rasping and accomplished supercrosser who has posted top results at the highest echelons of the sport. His slightly unpredictable form means that Friese could be duelling for silverware or bringing the mid-pack heat. He is just as formidable either in SX1 or on electric machinery. Vince, the 2025 AMA Arenacross champion, will be bringing the buzz.

Justin Hill

The younger of the Hill brothers, Justin is another former Supercross champion to form-up in World Supercross. He won races on both 250SX coast competitions in the United States, including an East title in 2017. Justin transitioned to the 450SX division (SX1) where he continued to mix performances of baffling brilliance with a tendency to also make up the numbers. Hills’ unpredictability is part of his lofty entertainment factor. This, and his often-exceptional ability on a dirtbike. One of the authentic dark horses of World Supercross who is expected to be challenge for the top three places.

Henry Miller

Henry has been a supercross and motocross Pro since 2016 and has littered the classifications of 250SX (SX2) and 450SX (SX1) in the United States during that period. His keenness for competition and search for action as one of the leading privateer figures on the scene means he is a welcome and eager addition to the World Supercross roster having races in the championship in 2022 and 2023. Henry brings experience, and also significant edge to the field thanks to his outings in the cut-and-thrust of Arenacross (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia).

Austin Politelli

As a California, Austin knows all about speedy, hardpack tracks and the allure of supercross. He also knows a thing or two about style and looking cool on the bike while pushing for head-turning results. As a privateer he’s persisted with 250SX West Main Events, dabbled with the 450SX class in the United States and also tried to bring some extra aggression to the Arenacross series (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia). Austin has recently taken on the challenge of pushing a Stark VARG to its limits but will be on track hitting the clock for MCR in World Supercross.

Quentin Prugnieres

What can Quentin produce in World Supercross this year? It’s a curious question, considering the youngster has been catching the eye for the last two seasons as an FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship rider and also appearing in the premier class of MXGP. He’s had to bounce around three teams (and different bikes) in that time due to circumstances beyond his control, indicating that he can adapt fast and still maintain a competitive rate of knots despite his youth: he’s one of the youngsters in World Supercross. More French supercross potential is coming up.

Ken Roczen

Is there a more recognisable international dirt bike racing icon than Ken Roczen? In motocross and supercross circles the ‘94’ number plate is almost as strong as the ‘46’ for MotoGP. An FIM Motocross World Champion, American motocross champion and 250SX (SX2) title holder as well as a Motocross of Nations winner and, of course, two World Supercross crowns: the German has accolades well beyond his United States and Florida base. Ken is a father of two, but the energy and the enthusiasm he brings to his day job is boyish and brilliant. He is elite: both in his racing intelligence and his technique. He is individualistic and charismatic and when he is physically 100% then there is almost nobody who can stop him. Still taking chequered flags wherever he goes, Roczen has been one of the megastars of the sport ever since he burst onto the scene as a 15 year old in 2009.

Joey Savatgy

Joey should somehow have more than a 250SX (SX2) championship runner-up medal and three Main Events victories. If talent and personality were the main ingredients for championship success then Savatgy would be a multiple winner but the Georgian is also an example of how top flite motorsport is very transient, and the next generation of stars are just waiting to come along. Joey has nevertheless forged a lasting career where the bright moments have reminded fans and spectators of his capabilities on two wheels and is one of the most consistent in the series. A supporter and believer of World Supercross and happy to spread supercross to a wider audience; Joey is a significant racer in the gate.

Devin Simonson

Devin has been gliding and grafting in the point-scoring positions of elite level supercross in the United States and has been one of the prominent performers for Yamaha’s ClubMX team. He has rubbed dirtbike plastics in both the 450SX and 250SX divisions in his homeland but has also been open to extending his supercross education to an international spotlight. Good starts could bring the North Carolinian into play … but he’ll certainly be pushing for every single place until the flag regardless.

Jordi Tixier

Jordi excelled in motocross early in his career. He was European champion and then 2014 FIM MX2 World Champion in 2014 for one of the most exciting title finales seen in the sport. Whether attempting to set the speed in Grand Prix or other national motocross series like Germany’s highly competitive ADAC MX Masters, Jordi has maintained his love of supercross and has been a mainstay on the French and European circuit. He recently took a podium finish in the 2025 French championship in preparation for his blast at World Supercross.

Eli Tomac

The World No.1 supercross rider—there might be longer names in the worldwide spread of Supercross but hardly any get bigger than Eli Tomac. He has won championships in both 450SX (SX1) twice, with two different manufacturers, and 250SX (SX2) and has multiple motocross titles in the United States. Want more? Then try the fact that he’s the second most victorious rider in 450SX history. Eli is no stranger to supercross overseas and to World Supercross and it’s beyond cool to have this immensely popular athlete back on the slate. Hard, uncompromising with his speed (the Tomac ‘Beast Mode’ has been an unbreakable rhythm for a decade) but also fair and respectful, Eli is one of the genuine all-timers with nothing left to prove.

Tom Vialle

Tom Vialle is the most successful and decorated French dirtbike racer of the decade. He made a splash for Red Bull KTM as a virtual unknown in 2019 when he became FIM MX2 World Championship rookie of the year and a GP winner in his debut season, The following year he won the first of his two MX2 world titles. Chasing his dream in Supercross he moved to the United States for 2023 and promptly stamped two 250SX (SX2) East crowns. An electric starter and a smart racer, the 450cc category awaits as the next boundary for Vialle to leap.

Cooper Webb

The current top dog in American Supercross. Cooper won his third 450SX (SX1) championship in 2025 and his first for Yamaha after two crowns with KTM in the United States. ‘Coop’ turned Pro back in 2013 while he was 17 and although it feels like he has been a race winner and title contender for an age, he is only just on the edge of his ‘30s. From 2014 he has finished in the top three of a 250SX or 450SX championship eight times: on five occasions as #1 from both categories. It’s an immense record of achievement. Cooper also won the high profile supercross event in France towards the end of 2024. A family man, Webb is fully committed and applies the highest demands to his preparation and racing. The relentlessness of his approach and strategy means he ‘stalks’ the opposition and churns out a series of unflinching results. Either beat Cooper (good luck) or don’t dare make a mistake … otherwise you’re his.

Jorge Zaragoza

Initially touted as Spain’s next big motocross star in the early ‘10s, Jorge’s career entered a different sphere when injury and a lack of opportunity kept him out of the FIM Motocross World Championship limelight. His tidy and attractive riding style meant he was an effective fit for supercross and arenacross (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia), and he also became a useful test rider and racer for Stark as they honed their Stark VARG electric bike for competition, winning the FIM E-Xplorer championship.

The World Supercross SX2 class if full with exciting talent, including Haiden Deegan and Max Anstie. This category is going to be hotly contested and features some incredible wildcard selections. Here’s your SX2 riders for 2025.

Max Anstie

Max is one of the few Brits in World Supercross but brings a lot of prestige, experience and know-how to the gate. A son of a motocrosser; Max has won FIM World championship MX2 Grands Prix, scooped MXGP podiums, won Motocross of Nations honours and claimed AMA Supercross 250SX victories. He’s raced machinery from at least five major brands and represented several factory teams at the highest levels of dirtbike racing. In short, he’s been there and done it. Fun-loving, stylish on the motorcycle and a rapid starter: Anstie will be in the mix for top points at each round.

Kyle Chisholm

Kyle brings class and longevity to World Supercross. He may be the oldest rider on track but that means he has raced every type of supercross layout and dirt, battled some of the true greats of the sport, ridden a wide catalogue of different bikes and boasts experience of practically every competitive scenario! ‘Chiz’ never knows when to quit, and this attitude means he is one of the most respected riders in the paddock. Still quick, and with more supercross starts than seats in a wide section of a stadium, Kyle will keep going, going and going.

Brodie Connolly

Brodie will already stand out in World Supercross due to his nationality: he’s the only Kiwi to be on the start list! He comes with pedigree: a national champion in the 250cc (SX2 class) and fast enough to represent his county at the Motocross of Nations. Brodie is one of the quickest riders competing on Australian motocross soil and has the skills to transfer that pace to World Supercross tracks. He’ll be dialling-up the excitement.

Haiden Deegan

If you want star power, then look no further. Son of a FMX and motocross icon, Haiden is reaching and outstripping the profile of his Dad. Why? His ability and the unyielding pace means he is a multiple title winner in the United States even before his 21st birthday and is touted as the future of supercross. Haiden brings the ‘go’ and then creates the show with his tenacity on track and his fearless approach to rivalries. Beating Haiden will not only mean other riders will need to summon all their potential but they will have to win the psychological battle as well. Fireworks before the fireworks!

Maxime Desprey

Maxime knows his way around the curves and obstacles of both a supercross and motocross track. He was one of France’s up-and-coming young stars at the start of the last decade and rose to P4 in the MX2 FIM world championship with both style and efficiency on a 250cc machine. His love of supercross means he has been a regular fixture in domestic and international European SX events and has maintained a high level of competitiveness, taking 1st place in 2025! Max is yet another rider with guile and the taste of podium success on his career record.

Michael Hicks

Michael has graced the Pro supercross scene for more than half a decade and become a mainstay for Main Event qualification and points in the United States. Hicks has a natural flair for motorcycling, whether it’s SX, free-riding, Freestyle motocross or even pitbike riding! The American seems happiest when his dirtbike is throwing radical shapes. Of course, he’s also fast. Michael was chosen by Stark to develop the electric VARG bike in competition and has shown the potential of the platform with standout results in the French SX Tour series.

Lance Kobusch

Lance’s nickname, ‘lightning’, might tell you what you need to know. A seasoned campaigner of American main events, Kobusch hails from Missouri and is based in Texas so he carries a cowboy spirit and a willingness to find limits on a dirtbike. Lance has suffered with injury and even paused his career for a while but the lure of the throttle was too strong. He is searching for a clear spell of fitness and momentum to realise some potential. His World Supercross tilt comes thanks to Stark this year and he’ll be hammering the characteristics of the electric bike to aim for fresh goals.

Bogdan Krajewski

Bogdan is one of Yamaha’s bets for World Supercross glory. The French racer has been a prominent figure on the national motocross and supercross scene, rising to the status of championship runner-up as well as a podium finisher in the popular domestic ‘SX Tour’; a breeding ground for some of the best supercross talent in Europe. Krajewski could be one of the surprises of the field.

Enzo Lopes

Enzo has been a notable racer in the United States and in supercross stadiums but his influence stretches far beyond. An 11-times champion in his home country of Brazil, Lopes has also shone in motocross and Arenacross (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia) and brings vast scope of experience and racecraft to World Supercross. Enzo has sometimes spent far too long in hospital waiting rooms but speed and cunning are never in short supply with this athlete.

Shane is already a World Supercross legend thanks to his SX2 class titles in 2022 and 2024. The capacity for both race wins across the globe and to manage a championship campaign comes from his 12 years of Pro experience in the United States where he rode for some of the biggest and most prestigious teams in supercross. Shane hasn’t always been lucky with injury or his health but when fit and firing then he’s a favourite to uncork those champagne bottles. Can more World Supercross fame be on the agenda?

Colt Nichols

Colt is a supercross winner and 250SX (SX2) title holder in the United States. Those career achievements mean he is among the sport’s elite, even though his strong efforts in the last couple of seasons have been disrupted by injury. Since focussing on American supercross competition, Nichols has represented top teams like Monster Energy Star Yamaha and HRC Honda and his reputation as a focused and committed athlete means he is capable of posting results to catch the eye. To win the race you need to be in the race, and Colt gives his all.

Cullin Park

Cullin is scaling the supercross pyramid. Growing up in Florida gave him a good grounding for different tracks and a decent learning platform as he clocked-off the laps at motocross compound facilities and with other racers based in the state. Park had a strong 2025 and clasped his first podium trophy as a privateer in the United States, taking a P5 position in the 250SX East championship. His tall frame can be seen as a slight disadvantage on the 250, but his energy and technique carry him through. Expect Cullin to come calling for his rivals!

Kyle Peters

Kyle knows all about the journey from agony to elation. This experienced supercross and dirtbike racer had a serious back injury in 2022 but fought and clawed his way to fitness and to the handlebars, He won another two Arenacross championships to take his tally for the discipline to five. Arenacross (a more compact, frenetic and intense version of supercross staged in small stadia) is Peters’ domain and he’s therefore ready for the close quarters combat that regularly infuses World Supercross. As hard and as tough as they come.

Coty Schock

Coty’s rabid resilience to keep fighting up the race orders of supercross and motocross in the United States (even with freshly broken collarbones) means that this veteran had produced plenty of inspirational material. He has secured results in the top ten and top five of 250SX (SX2) and 450SX (SX1) against factory riders and teams and squads with resources that outstrip his own. Schock has not been daunted by the opposition and that determination means he will be a fantastic and charismatic addition to World Supercross.

Cole Thompson

Laps, longevity and persistence mark Cole’s career and a privateer campaigner who has well over a decade of professional racing experience, especially in the vast North American indoor stadia. He darted across the border from his Canadian roots, where he won national supercross and arenacross titles, to attempt supercross in the United States and broke into the top ten and the top five. Still Canada’s best supercrosser, Cole has recently represented Yamaha and KTM teams and has raced overseas. He’ll no doubt be the main attraction for at least one of the World Supercross rounds!

Noah Viney

Noah is another one of the younger riders hoping to ruffle the established veterans of World Supercross. He came to the attention of the American industry and motocross and supercross paddock with a top three finish at Loretta Lynn’s: the biggest amateur stage for the sport in North America. He then appeared in the 250SX Futures feeder series and is firmly in an educational phase. Look out for his progress.

Robbie Wageman

Robbie has been on the trail of 250SX (SX2) Main Event qualification and top ten honours against the glut of factory supported riders. A recent broken and dislocated left wrist was an injury ‘hiccup’ that sidelined the Californian for most of 2025 but World Supercross is part of his recovery and preparation for 2026 where he’ll represent Yamaha once more.
