WSX Sweden - Power Ranking

Dec 7

There were a number of exciting battles in the 3Arena in Stockholm in the SX1 class as the championship goes down to the wire. Here Tommy Searle, Britain's most-successful MX2 rider provides his Power Rankings.

Henry Miller (10/10)

I believe this is Henry’s best result of the season. Fair play, Henry.

Jason Anderson (9/10)

I’m sure that Jason would have wanted all three wins, but he secured two of them and kept getting better over the night.

Colt Nichols (9/10)

This could have been full marks. For Colt to jump into the season on such a difficult track, I thought it was a very good night. A crash took him out of the podium battle.

Jordi Tixier (9/10)

Jordi was brilliant all day and got into the Superpole. I would say that he has left here a very happy man!

Joey Savatgy (8/10)

Joey was very good from the beginning of the day, so he would have wanted to sweep the races and make up some points. I think this could have been his night.

Christian Craig (8/10)

Christian said that these conditions were difficult for him, but he still kept himself in the championship hunt and cannot be too disappointed.

Ryan Breece (7/10)

I’m quite generous with my scores, as a fellow rider. I have respect for everyone! This was a good result.

Ander Valentin (7/10)

I think that Ander will be very happy with that. These conditions would have suited him, being a European.

Austin Politelli (7/10)

I don’t like giving riders bad scores. I saw Austin had some crashes across the night, but there were some good results.

Devin Simonson (6/10)

Devin was up there at the beginning of the season. I’m not certain how he normally fares in these conditions, but I’m sure that he himself would want more than this.

Vince Friese (6/10)

Vince is still getting used to the Stark, but he challenged for the lead in one race. I think that he’s riding well on a bike that is very different.

Jorge Zaragoza (6/10)

Jorge is a very technically good rider. I think these conditions should have suited him, just knowing how good he is on a bike. I think that he’ll be disappointed.

Luke Clout (6/10)

Luke is very capable of challenging for a podium, but this was his first night with the Bud Racing Kawasaki team. Crashes hurt his overall score.

Michael Hicks (10/10)

Michael led a lot of races tonight. I think that’s the first time that he’s done that in the FIM World Supercross Championship – that’s where it all starts. You need to get up front and build from there.

Max Anstie (9.5/10)

Max has won 11 out of 12 races now and is on top form!

Enzo Lopes (9/10)

I could have considered a 10 for Lopes, as he took his first race win of the season and ended Max’s streak!

Shane McElrath (8/10)

Third overall was positive, but I know that he wants a lot more than that and so I’ll hand him an eight…

Maxime Desprey (8/10)

Maxime had a sixth in that final race of the night, and he should be very happy with that!

Cullin Park (7/10)

I think tonight was Cullin’s worst round so far, which is a shame as he was looking forward to these conditions. I think that he’ll be disappointed with himself.

Alex Larwood (7/10)

It’s Alex’s first appearance in SX2 and he had a good final, so I would presume that he is quite happy with that…

Kelena Humphrey (7/10)

I will hand Kelena a seven; he has been dropped into the deep end as he was not scheduled to race this championship. I think that he is doing very well.

Kyle Chisholm (7/10)

Kyle is an old boy like me and he is still out there doing his thing. I’m sure that he wanted to play it safe in conditions that were very tricky, so respect to him for that.

Noah Viney (7/10)

Noah had a crash in practice – he was very bruised up after that. I saw that the medics were tapping him up all night and he still kept on racing. Credit where it’s due.

Coty Schock (6/10)

It was going very well for Coty, but the track grabbed him in the final race and he was lucky to escape unhurt.

Robbie Wageman (6/10)

It was not a bad GP for Robbie, but I’m sure that he would like a little more from himself.

Kyle Peters (6/10)

Kyle is not going to be happy with 12th overall, as he is another rider who is capable of so much more.

Cole Thompson (5/10)

I’m sure that Cole wants a lot more than this – he is definitely capable of more.
