Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP's Tim Gajser won two from the three races raced at the #MXGP of Italy in Montevarchi, but had another riders footpeg rip the spokes out of his front wheel in Race 1, ultimately costing him a potential Grand Prix win.

At the same time, Maxime Renaux pressured Jeffrey Herlings to the flag in Race 1, but had to hold on for dear life in Race 2 due to an energy sapping virus. He still held on for his second podium finish of the season. Just for laughs, we had to ask the team "If you could only take three things to a desert island, what would you take?"
