Red Bull KTM factory rider, Andrea Adamo has won the German Grand Prix with 1-4 results after fellow KTM rider, Sasha Coenen threw away the Grand Prix victory, while leading the second moto. The young Belgian held the lead in the second moto and was holding the overall in his hand, before his crash. For Adamo it also meant he would take the red plate into Latvia next weekend and Germany was his fourth GP win of the season.

Second overall was Guillem Farres on 37pts and third Kay de Wolf on 36 pts. The champioship points are now Andrea Adamo 466pts, Simon Längenfelder 463pts, Kay de Wolf 435pts, Liam Everts 377pts and Sacha Coenen 342pts.

Andrea Adamo: It is amazing. It was tricky and I couldn't attack as I was scares for my goggles. So happy to have the red plate finally, but it isn't important to have it now, but at the end of the championship.

MX2 Moto Two

Coenen led in muddy conditions after a downpour between the MXGP moto and this second MXGP moto. Second was Farres, then de Wolf, Adamo, Lata, Van Erp, Oliver, Benistant, Valk and Braceras 10th. Everts 11th and Valin in last after a crash. Langenfelder in 11th place after a poor start.

On lap two it was Coenen, Farres, De Wolf, Adamo, Lata, Oliver, Valk, Van Erp, Benistant, and Everts 10th. Slippery conditions for the MX2 boys. Langenfelder still stuck in 11th place and both Adamo and de Wolf getting some points on the red plate owner.

After five laps it was still Coenen, with a seven second lead over Farres, with de Wolf close behind the Spaniard, and then came Adamo, Lata, Valk, Van Erp, Oliver, Benistant and Everts 10th. On lap eight it was Coenen, Farres, de Wolf, Adamo, Lata, Valk, Van Erp, Everts, Oliver, and Benistant 10th. Langenfelder a mistake and back to 12th place and Everts dropped to 11th.

Lap 10 and the lead by Coenen was nine seconds over Farres, with de Wolf third, then Adamo, Lata, Oliver, Benistant, McLellan, Mikula, and Everts. Coenen a big crash into the television camera position and stuck, losing the moto win and the GP win. Farres into the lead, with de Wolf second and now Adamo likely to get the GP victory as he rounds in fourth place.

Lata then crashed out of fourth but remained in that position. Langenfelder into 10th and gaining some points but will more than likely lose the red plate to Adamo. Farres wins the moto, from de Wolf and Adamo. Adamo takes yet another GP.
