Anstie Out of AMA Nationals
Star Racing Yamaha rider Max Anstie has had to pull out of the AMA Nationals opening and will miss most of the series due to his ongoing injury issues.
Anstie crashed out of the second qualifying session of the AMA supercross championship at Protective Stadium in Alabama, ruling him out of the weekend, and ending his Supercross season altogether. And not it seems its has also ruined his outdoor season.
The British rider wanted to compete this coming weekend, but continued pain from his broken bones didn't allow him to come back in time.
Max Anstie: We tried our best following the doctors orders and sometimes these things don’t go to plan. With that said in the time frame given the bone just didn’t progress as expected and now the best plan of action is to get it fixed in Vail. I’ll be back for the end of the summer and SMX.
