On Sunday, June 15th, the Motul ACU MXGB British Motocross Championship returns to the Blaxhall Circuit in Suffolk for Round 3 of the Championship. Hosted by the Woodbridge and DMCC, this event features the country’s top riders competing across three thrilling classes.

Set against the spectacular sandy venue just off the A12, the day's action begins at 9am with practice and qualifying. The race program includes six exciting races, featuring two 25-minute-plus-2-lap motos for both the MX1 and MX2 classes, and two championship races for the Youth 125cc class.

Woodbridge and DMCC, known for their exceptional organisational skills, have been named 'Organiser of the Year' multiple times, reflecting their dedication and attention to detail.

In the MX1 class, the championship battle is fierce with former British MX1 champion Conrad Mewse on the Crendon Tru7.com Honda currently leading the way after being undefeated so far this season. Second in the standings is Chambers Racing KTM rider Adam Sterry who is 12 points behind, and LEXA MX Honda’s Josh Gilbert is a further 10 points behind in third.

Blaxhall regular and club member Jamie Carpenter (Crendon Tru7.com Honda) is fourth in the standings and looking for his first MXGB podium in MX1 with Brad Todd on the DK Off-Road Powered by BikeSport Newcastle Honda in fifth. Local competitors include Sam Nunn (John Banks Honda), Luke Benstead and Max Broadbelt, along with Blaxhall regulars Chris Mills, Charlie Nudds, Connor Bunkle and Jae Jeffries.

In the MX2 class, multi time British Champion Tommy Searle leads the way on the Dirt Store Triumph Racing machine and is just 6 points ahead of Bike It Kawasaki’s Bobby Bruce. Third in the standings is Dirt StoreTriumph youngster Billy Askew with Blaxhall regular Ben Mustoe in fourth and looking to use his track knowledge to his advantage.

Dutch rider Gyan Doensen arrives at Blaxhall for the first time and sits fifth in the standings alongside his Gabriel SS24 KTM teammate Oriol Oliver. Local interest centres around Ipswich's Jake Nicholls (Crendon Tru7 Honda) with Blaxhall regulars Liam Bennett, Calum Mitchell and Bayliss Utting aiming to leverage their track knowledge for impressive results.

The Youth 125 class sees Ryan Waggott leading the championship, closely followed by Charlie Richmond and Hayden Statt. Local interest comes from Norwich based Alfie Geddes-Green who will be looking to break into the top 10.

Supported by sponsors Talk Access & Lifting Ltd, Foxwood Trade, Steve Lumley Planing Ltd, and Stebbings Car Superstore, the event promises an unforgettable day of racing.

Blaxhall Circuit is located just off the A12 north of Woodbridge. For Sat Nav, use the postcode IP17 1LG and follow the signposts from there. The action starts at 9 am with Qualifying sessions, with the first main race beginning at 11:30 am.
