Pretty sure every motocross fan around the World is happy to see the name Jeffrey Herlings back on top of the Grand Prix podium. For a decade and a half, the rider known as “The Bullet” has done things that not many Grand Prix riders, or even motocross riders in the history of the sport have done.

I would guess his 2017 Ironman performance against red hot AMA legend, Eli Tomac will be right up there, but there have been so many JH84 moments and while Latvia wasn’t sensationally special, like some of his other wins, it was win number 109. For a 30-year-old, the speed is still impressive.

“Let’s repeat it nine more times, eh? If only it were that simple! I’m really thankful for the win. Lucas pushed hard in both races, so credit to him as well, those guys are riding really strong. I'm happy to come out on top and looking forward to the next race. We’ll try to keep the momentum going, but it won’t be easy because everyone’s improving. We just keep doing our best, thank you!”

“Yes, today was really good. Just the lapped riders need to know what a blue flag is. I was like 10 seconds ahead and they just stayed in the main line. Its frustrating, but anyway, I got one in Indonesia and went 1-1 on the weekend, so really pleased with that. Its good to have a win again, the second in a row. Pretty pleased with that, so thank you.”

A super cool gallery below from KTM official photographer, JT from last weekend Latvian GP.
