Coenen Brilliant - Moto One
Red Bull KTM factory rider, Lucas Coenen has won the opening MXGP moto at the Finnish GP. The Belgian youngster also pulled back the series points lead of Kawasaki factory rider, Romain Febvre, who seemed to struggle through the moto and crashed on one occasion.
Lucas Coenen: I had a problem in the waves and lost my footing. I had fun out there, a good battle with Glenn and then passed him. Had some problems with the lapped riders and some problems with arm pump at the beginning, but that is part of it. We try and win the second one and get an overall win.

Just 18 points between Febvre and Coenen now, as the Belgian continues to close the gap, which was something like 60 points a couple of months ago.
