Coenen Doubles up in Latvia
Red Bull KTM factory rider, Sasha Coenen has gone 1-2 for a rather lucky GP victory and Simon Langenfelder was second with 2-3 and Kay De Wolf third with 8-1. Crazy final moto, as Langenfelder threw away the GP victory after crashing in the final lap while leading the moto and the GP. Coenen duplicated his GP win in Latvia in 2024. Finally a little luck for the little Belgian charger.
Championship points are now Simon Längenfelder 515 points, Andrea Adamo 488pts, Kay de Wolf 478pts, Liam Everts 419pts, Sacha Coenen 389pts. Langenfelder with a 27 point lead over Adamo, with De Wolf a further 10 points back.
Sasha Coenen: I am feeling okay, I collided in the start and hit my hand and I couldn't push all moto. Won the overall, back to back here. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
