Team Belgian rider, Sasha Coenen continues to show consistent performances and today, he did it on the highest level, the 2025 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations. The tiny twin, started quick, took the lead early and won in a fine ride. Second was Team The Netherlands, Kay De Wolf and third was Team USA rider, Justin Cooper.

After two races it is Australia who have the best tally with 6 points, Germany are also on 6, Belgium 7, France 11, Spain 11 and USA 12.

Sasha Coenen: In the start I messed up a bit and came out second. I passed for the lead, but I didn't feel great out there, made some mistakes, but looking forward to tomorrow.

MX2 Qualification Race

Langenfelder led from Coenen, Cooper, Haarup, de Wolf, Webster in the MX2 qualification race. Coenen into the lead and looking very fast. McLellan sixth as he passed Webster, then Farres, Valin, Reisulis in 10th. De Wolf moved past Cooper.

De Wolf into second place as he passed Langenfelder, and the GP riders showing good pace against Team USA rider, Cooper. Cooper moved past Langenfelder and Webster back past Haarup. Valin dropped to 10th place. Adamo in 17th after a poor start and a crash in the first corner.

Lap two and the lead by Coenen over de Wolf was 1.6 seconds, with Cooper 2.7 seconds off the leader. Coenen looking dazzling in front, with de Wolf hanging onto him, and Cooper all over the Dutchman. Lap four it was Coenen, De Wolf, Cooper, Langenfelder, Webster, Farres, Reisulis, Valin, Haarup and McLellan.

Lap seven and the lead by Coenen over de Wolf was 1.2 seconds with Cooper 5.6 back, then Langenfelder, Webster, Farres, Reisulis, Valin, McLellan and Haarup. De Wolf all over Coenen for the lead and the final laps being brilliant action, as Cooper watched from a slight distance behind. Coenen wins it from de Wolf and Cooper.
