Star Racing Yamaha rider Haiden Deegan has finally won a main event and in doing so, completely dominated his opposition. The American sensation led early and just gapped the field to take his first win of the season as he tries to close down the points lead of second place man, Julien Beaumer.

An amazing all teenager podium and for second placed man Beaumer it was a chance to stay in the picture, but third placed rider, Cole Davies from New Zealand became the first 17 year old to podium in a 250 main since Jett Lawrence a couple of years ago. The sport in USA is in a healthy situation with all this young talent. Jo Shimoda a strong sixth place with his busted hand.

Haiden Deegan: They pissed off the bull. Beaumer ran his mouth last week, and you don’t want to piss me off, because I come out swinging. We did a lot of work and got it done. Keep talking and I come out swinging.
