In front of 30,000 of his countrymen, Jeffrey Herlings of the HRC team has gone 1-1 for victory at his home Grand Prix and heads to Turkey with a sizeable points lead over Romain Febvre, who struggled somewhat in Arnhem. It was Herlings 122nd GP win.

Second in the GP was Kay De Wolf, who went 2-2, but really showed amazing speed throughout the weekend. Tom Vialle was third overall with 4-3 results. Bavo Swijgers image

Jeffrey Herlings: This was a challenge I didn't have for a while. Kay was good, I had five or six seconds on him and he came back. He then crashed and another 1-1-1 and for the championship a big advantage, so looking forward to Turkey in two weeks time.

MXGP Moto Two

Herlings with the lead ahead of Coldenhoff and Vialle, then came De Wolf, Gajser, Fernandez, Adamo, Bonacorsi, Febvre and Watson 10th. De Wolf into second, and then came Vialle, Gajser, Coldenhoff, Fernandez, Adamo, Febvre, Bonacorsi and Watson 10th.

Herlings pushing really hard and de Wolf trying to stay with him and made a small mistake but kept second place. De Wolf really giving Herlings a hard time. Herlings clocked a 1.44.578 and again opened the gap over De Wolf.

Top ten on lap six was Herlings, de Wolf, Vialle, Gajser, Coldenhoff, Fernandez, Adamo, Febvre, Watson and Van De Moosdijk 10th. Herlings more than five seconds ahead of de Wolf on lap eight, with Vialle 21 seconds behind, and Gajser 23 seconds off the pace of Herlings.

Gajser all over Vialle for third place, with the two Dutchmen miles ahead of the rest of the field. Fernandez crashed and dropped some spots, and on lap 11 the top ten was Herlings, de Wolf, Vialle, Gajser, Coldenhoff, Febvre, Adamo, Fernandez, Van De Moosdijk, Bonacorsi.

Gajser into third place as he passed Vialle, and Jonass into the top ten with Bonacorsi dropping to 11th. De Wolf while chaisng Herlings went down and handed the race and GP to Herlings.
