Switzerland GP - Highlights
It was another day of the big three and another day of somebody changing the momentum. Yes, Tim Gajser with his 49th GP victory, extended his championship points lead and if he can win another GP and this years MXGP championship, he will sit equal with Joel Robert as the third greatest GP rider of all time (stats wise). Not a bad ending of this legendary season if that is the case.
Of course, second placed man, Jeffrey Herlings isn't out of it just yet and sometimes you think he would be cool if he actually won a championship because of luck, he sure has lost a lot because of bad luck or injury. Like Gajser, a sixth title would be pretty cool to go with his 107 GP wins.
Then we have Jorge Prado, who hurt himself in the opening moto, but continues to try and fight for his fourth World title, to join the likes of Torsten Hallman, Harry Everts, and Heikki Mikkola as a four time champ. Below are the Sunday highlights. Ray Archer image
