At the ADAC MX Masters in Vellahn on Saturday, fans experienced thrilling races on a challenging track. In the three ranked races, Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (ADAC MX Masters), Nicolai Skovbjerg (ADAC MX Youngster Cup) and Patriks Cirulis (ADAC MX Junior Cup 85) prevailed. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125, Lucas Leok took pole position for Sunday's races.

Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (EST/SHR Motorsports by Hartje) sprinted to the front of the field as Acerbi's Best Qualifier with the Red Bull Holeshot ahead of Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) and Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing). But after the first lap, Tom Koch (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) and Roan van de Moosdijk (NL/Kosak Racing Team) were in the first chasing positions. The championship leader van de Moosdijk moved past Koch into second place in the following lap. Haavisto took fourth place at the halfway point of the race and Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) also passed Ludwig to fifth place on the same lap. Haavisto continued to push forward and overtook Koch on lap eight. After a crash by Spies, the race was stopped. Talviku was classified as the winner after ten laps ahead of van de Moosdijk, Haavisto, Koch and Ludwig.

"Thanks to my pole position, I was able to choose a good starting position, which I converted well into the holeshot. From then on, I only oriented myself forward, because I knew Roan would come from behind. This is my first win in the series, I'm very happy about that," Talviku beamed.

In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, the holeshot went to Mick Kennedy (NL/Yamaha), but he was immediately ousted from the top spot by class newcomer Ryan Oppliger (CH/Oppliger Racing). Nico Stenberg (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing) lined up in third place ahead of Saku Mansikkamäki (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing) and Nicolai Skovbjerg (DK/SixtySeven Racing Team). In the first half of the race, the top eight were close together before there was movement in the positions. Within three laps, Skovbjerg worked his way up from fifth to first place. Three laps before the finish, Oppliger, who won the last race in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125, had to give up second place to Gyan Doensen (NL/Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors), who moved up from fifth place within one lap. Kennedy fell back sharply in this phase. Levi Townley (NZ/Team MJC-Yamaha-Monster Energy) relegated Oppliger to fourth place on the last lap. With Skovbjerg's victory ahead of Doensen, Townley, Oppliger and Stenberg, the Dane moved a big step closer to an early title win this weekend.

"It took me a while to find places where I could attack. At half-time, Gyan was pushing from behind, so I switched to attack and was able to win. Even though I try not to think too much about the title, I have it in my head, of course. I'll try not to do anything stupid tomorrow and hopefully secure the championship," Skovbjerg said happily.

In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 on Saturday, it was all about qualifying and starting the grid for the two ranked races on Sunday. The leader of the standings, Lucas Leok (EST/KTM MX Futures), set the fastest lap in qualifying and will be the first to choose his starting position tomorrow, followed by Emil Ziemer (CH/Motobike Racing Team) and Finn Lange (D/KTM GST Berlin Racing).

Martins Cirulis (LAT/Schmicker Silve Racing) took the lead with the Red Bull holeshot and came out of the first lap ahead of Conrad Pinchon (F/KTM MX Futures) and Patriks Cirulis (LAT/Schmicker Silve Racing). On the second lap, Patriks Cirulis followed his brother's heels, and another lap later, Harry Dale (GB/KTM MX Futures) moved past the Frenchman into third place. On lap four, Robin Robert Mooses (EST/MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing) took third place and stayed with the Cirulis-twins until he retired on lap eight with a technical defect. In the meantime, Jaggar Townley (NZ/Yamaha NZ) had worked his way up to Pinchon in fourth place. Four laps before the end, Townley took fourth place, one lap later Patriks Cirulis took the lead, which he did not relinquish. Thus, Patriks Cirulis won ahead of his brother Martins, Dale, Townley and Pinchon.

"The duel with my brother was fun and at the end I was finally able to overtake him. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow," said Patriks Cirulis.
