Team Australia riders, Jett and Hunter Lawrence and Kyle Webster, the defending champions of the MXoN gave their comments to the world media and below is what they told everyone.

Jett Lawrence: I always look forward to it, seeing friends and race against the euro guys get to see where you are at. Also, the three days program for us and makes it fun. Also, the three race program and be part of a team. Our sport is solo based, but this one you work as a team.

Kyle Webster: I feel really good this year, spending some time getting used to the bike and stepping down to the 250 has been easier and I am really looking forward to it. I come in with good preparation and everyone has given me a hand over the last couple of months.

Hunter Lawrence: It was one of the highlights of our career, having tried for 40 years. We started in Redbud with third overall, our first podium and then second in Ernee and then winning last year. It is a fun event, and we really look forward to it. It has been quieter this year, but we have a lot of Australians coming over and we will have a lot of support. There is so much riding time in a GP weekend and come race day, everyone has the track dialled in and get up to speed and tomorrow we have 40 minutes of free practice, so anyone can get comfortable on the track.
