Once again, the world championship off-road season has allowed Vertex Pistons to further raise the quality level of its products, thanks to the partnership with factory teams and riders who have played a leading role in motocross, enduro and supermoto.

Starting from the motocross world championship, where the Vertex pistons boasted the World title reserved for motorcycle manufacturers in both MXGP and MX2 with the Yamaha Monster Energy Wilvo and Kemea teams respectively. Again in motocross, in addition to the title of MX2 vice champion obtained alongside Jago Geerts, the Vertex pistons placed themselves in four of the top five positions in the MXGP class with Romain Febvre (Kawasaki KRT) who finished in 2nd place, Jeremy Seewer (Yamaha Monster Energy MXGP) in 3rd, Glenn Coldenhoff (Yamaha Monster Energy MXGP) in 4th and Ruben Fernandez (Honda HRC) in 5th, as well as standing out at the Motocross of Nations with world champions Febvre and Maxime Renaux, the latter also star of the Open class, and in the EMX125 with the Estonian Janis Reisulis (Yamaha MJC).

Speaking of enduro races, Vertex pistons has accompanied the Beta Factory Racing riders Steve Holcombe (EGP and E2) and Brad Freeman (E3) to the world title, also ensuring first place in the manufacturer rankings reserved for the EGP, E2 and E3 classes, while in supermoto they dominated the scenes with S1GP champion Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Factory).


With these prestigious premises, Vertex Piston presents itself with the entire collection of pistons for 2 and 4-stroke engines updated for the 2024 motorcycle models. As regards the one reserved for 4-strokes, the Replica, High Compression and Big Bore versions are flanked by the one with high performance GP-Racers Choice made with hot forging of a high-strength aeronautical alloy and stands out for its exclusive shape with internal support crosspiece. Technology used in Formula 1, which together with the racing profile as well as the particular shape of the head allows the maximum compression ratio to be obtained while also improving the low-end torque, to the full advantage of performance without affecting the original reliability of the engine. The piston coated with molybdenum disulfide to guarantee smoothness and resistance to wear, is completed by a DLC-coated piston pin, anti-rotation retaining rings, and new segments no longer chromed but rather equipped with a special PVD treatment which, in addition to having a better performance are also more environmentally friendly.


In addition to its own line of pistons, Vertex also has front and rear sprockets, produced in Europe and equipped with the most absolute reliability thanks to the accurate processing on numerical control machines, updated with the applications for the most popular 2024 motorcycles. The rear sprockets are offered in the Alu model in 7075 alloy with T6 heat treatment, equipped with mud drains on the external side and available in various colors, in the Steel model in special black anodized C45 steel, and in the Duo version completely anodized and available in different colors characterized by an external part in special 16CrNi4 steel with induction hardened teeth and an internal one in 7075 alloy equipped with T6 heat treatment. The front sprockets, also machined on numerical control machines, are made of special 16CrNi4 steel and are offered in the basic K version and in the KC version equipped with lightening holes.


No less important for Vertex is the availability of Piston Top-End Kits (VTK) designed to facilitate the repair of 2 and 4-stroke off-road motorcycles, saving time and money as they consist of all the spare parts necessary to update and refurbish the thermal part of the motor. The kits for 2T include piston, piston pin, circlips, rings, top end gasket and pin bearing, while the 4-stroke kits engines in additionally have the timing chain (free of charge).
