Kawasaki Australia rider, Luke Clout has won the third round of the Australia Supercross Championship, but it came in high drama as Dean Wilson, who had gone 1-1, but was penalized for jumping a yellow flag, while holding a big lead in the second final.

Wilson then went 1-6 for second place as the winner, Clout, went 2-1. Third place went to Cedric Soubeyras with 4-3 scores. Series leader Wilson spoke after what he thought was his overall victory.

Dean Wilson: Happy with my starts, I figured something out and that makes it easier. It was awesome and thanks to the team. Overall, a great day, but I managed to get the win.

Walsh with the lead followed by Wilson, Clout, Tanti, Mellross, Nicoletti, Soubeyras and Harrison. Wilson quickly into the lead, although Walsh doing his best to stay with the Scotsman. Clout into second and Tanti third as Walsh again starts going backwards. Nicoletti back in 12th place as he made a big mistake.

Top 10 was Wilson, Clout, Tanti, Soubeyras, Harrison, Mellross as Walsh crashed and dropped back to eight place. Wilson wins it from Clout and Tanti.

Then a penalty came in and Wilson was relegated to sixth place in the race and that gave the overall win to Clout, with 2-1 scores. Wilson was second with 1-6 and third Soubeyras third with 4-3 finishes.
