Wilson Wins Final 1
Dean Wilson has won the opening main event in Sydney, Australia, beating home Luke Clout and Mitchell Harrison. The Scotsman was into the lead very quickly and just clicked away his laps to take yet another victory in Australia. Until now, he is undefeated in main events.
Dean Wilson: It was good. A start makes life so much easier, and I locked in for that start and just didn’t do anything crazy, and I am still not sure on the yellow flag situation, if I have to roll the jumps or not. Another one to go.
Walsh with the holeshot ahead of Wilson, Nicoletti, Walsh, Clout, Tanti, Soubeyras, Mellross, Harrison, Campbell, and Zielinski 10th. Wilson quickly into the lead and made a gap over Nicoletti, with both Clout and Tanti passing Walsh.
Clout into second place with a pass on Nicoletti, with Wilson a four second lead over the Aussie. The laps ticking away and on lap four the lead by Wilson was six seconds and Tanti back in last spot after a crash.
Lap five the top 10 was Wilson, Clout, Nicoletti, Walsh, Harrison, Soubeyras, Mellross, Ziekinski, Jackson, Campbell, and O’Loan. Soubeyras into fourth as he puts Nicoletti into fifth. Soubeyras all over Harrison for third place. Walsh dropping back in sixth and the lead by Wilson with laps running out was nearly 10 seconds. Wilson wins from Clout and Harrison.
